Light Is The Absence Of Darkness Poem by Gin Hue

Light Is The Absence Of Darkness

The Light
Illuminating a path

Crashes the darkness

An entity of hope

An entity of itself

Darkness is nothingness

Light drives it out

A single flicker, a little flare

All it really takes

The power that thrives in a single spark

Gives itself out, while driving out

the darkness around

We all seek that little spark, takes us away from the engulfing dark

Sometimes we forget that little spark is burried somewhere deep within us

The ones who ignite their spark, burning it out, giving a little light within the dark

Gives so much to the emptiness in other human hearts

A single spark is where it start, a human light within the dark
Shine so much brighter as it is burning out

But human spirit ignite, while only a little spark, could gather so much brightness as it brings together other human hearts
