Light To Dark Poem by Christopher Ray

Light To Dark

When light turns to dark,

It's like a blanket on a baby,

It covers the earth,

As if to hide it's faults,

It doesn't place blame,

And it doesn't run,

It stands there as still as a deer,

But it doesn't scare,

it just stays there to stare,

your face shooken,

As if you saw a ghost,

The dark over taken,

How do you stop it?

You can't,

So you wait for the sun,

It's like a hot shower,

It stopped the darkness in it's tracks,

It's like hot water running down your back,

You get really relaxed,

As if there is nothing wrong,

But your still scared,

The sun must go down,

Your afraid of that change,

the darkness will over take,

When light turns to dark
