Light Vs Darkness Poem by manon Vauquelin

Light Vs Darkness

I looked to my right as I walked toward the light
My left was darkness with the idea of height
I stumbled across a me
That I didn't see
As I wanted no more than to be in the warmth
Of the light from the north
I was running towards it
As if my death depended on it
It did. I was running from suffering
To a place of enlightening
To a place where wrong cease to exist
To a place where I cease to exist
My heart was pounding
My breath was ceasing
I was floating
And for once my left was right
For my darkness became my light
Life wasn't dark, it was light
But it didn't stop me from going right
As nothing could stop me
from falling apart.
