Lightbulb - Poem by Missy Lynn

It is in your control
Able to switched on and off a
It can be changed to suit
In its prime it glows brightly
Brighter than a thousand suns
Then one day you attempt to switch it on
And it is gone
Or is it? Will a new one replace,
What has gone out?
