Lightly Poem by Miss Fairytale

Lightly

Your sleepy ocean-eyes
Like softly burning stars
Smiled through your eyelids
Into my flashing sighs.
A string of your saliva
Stuck upon my blanket
Reminding me of galaxies
And fog amongst the smoke.
The feathers painted on the floor
Gently stroked my face to sleep
Dreaming me in black and blue
I couldn't break through smiling stars.

Short boxes of water
Cracked my head like bricks
And built a world of angry lights
in between my lashes.
Like morning grass
I drank the fluid seeping
from you hair and arms.
My wrong combination of colour
And song and sound
Wrote a dream of different kinds
Painting me in broken shell.
