Joy wanders in these passive moments
Where I am away on another view
And the darkling sky makes novelty
Of my intoxication.
The silent pulse encompasses,
Shrouding closer, beating,
Making it all it all and other structures
Appear their way, that isolates
And makes all colours their eyes.
Long mist
It seeks me out,
Past the horizon and into this parade
Whilst I beg, stay blind,
Kin of fear, and waking knowledge dawns
That my languor begs reckoning.
I can ask only for mercy,
Rapt, burned, reassembled
In that old way,
Where joy wanders
And I gamble again
On these petty die.
