Like A Newborn Sun Poem by Jack Nico

Like A Newborn Sun

come home with me
eat into this senseless night
and I will wait for thee
with silence, frost and light

all movements are completely gone
my work were not of my own choice
my roads have all been done
and empty truths repeated by my voice

time is playing out to kill
I search madly for my gun
but some harder hope is all your will
and I crack up like a newborn sun
