Like A Shimmer Poem by Shona Anoop

Like A Shimmer

The ball of flame
grace the world
All else fade
In its shade

Chirpings emerged
Of the birds
Became dimmer
Like a shimmer

Blowing breeze
Caressed the trees 🌳
Lulling to 💤sleep
ALL who weeps.

Enveloping darkness
Creates a stillness
Of terror and joy
Both a decoy.
