Like All The Rest Poem by Pamela Mote

Like All The Rest

Everytime the phone rings
I hope it is you
Sometimes I do not know how to act around you
I play it cool but I end up acting like a fool
That is when I get so insecure
Can't you see?
You have an affect on me
I hate to think
That one of these days
You will be gone just like all the rest
