Like An Eagle You Flew Poem by Joanna Patino

Like An Eagle You Flew

It all started when you were young
Thinking and learning while having fun.
You did your work all by yourself
Thinking about the future and nothing else.
You brought in perfect grades
Since kinder you brought all A's.
You studied for test.
Always working and doing your best.
The years passed and you never changed.
Not like any other teenager that would've complained.
The door to love was closed.
And an independent women arose.
Just climbing up in life.
And with your knowledge you learned to thrive.
All i can say is that i'm proud of you.
And like an eagle you flew.
