Like An Owl Misses The Moon Poem by Alexander Foald

Like An Owl Misses The Moon

Still I found some air left unreleased
While I can see the clouds hanging over the window
No matter how I look at the days I’ve been through
Feels like the first time I got my heart broken

The moon is still showing up, the stars are still shining on
The people walking down the streets like there’ll be no tomorrow
All that seemed so familiar, now I can’t feel myself bound to them
Even though the time keeps rolling around, I still got my heart broken

A love I found now have found someone else’s part of heart
Some memories are just being lucky to be remembered of
When I thought everything is just for temporary down,
My heart told me to let her go, and keep moving on

A soundless whisper in a beautiful night like this
Flown in the mid air, through the open window
It’s blindly telling me a story of unrequited love
Between the owl of the forest and the moon above
