Like Lambs In May

Storm gales blowing, trees falling down
No sun or moon for days
No joy, no smile, through lingering frown
No joy for you could raise

As sure as Heaven’s throne remains
With God and Christ beside
No fear is due, if all year rains
Salvation will abide

Prayer in the morning, prayer at night
Praising as day is long
Faithful seeking God’s way of light
Flooding one’s day with song

Singing with joy, lovingly clear
As on a fresh spring morn
Dancing like a frolicking deer
Grateful for being born

So thankful walking with Jesus
As on a joyous spree
No other way could please us
Once truth has us free

Like cuddly lambs, skipping in May
Their mother’s milk require
So souls will search craving each day
Till hearts receive life’s fire

Man’s searching soul, God’s eyes can see
When truth one’s heart lays bear
One’s spirit, Christ His Son set, free
Eternity to share

So is the heart of Heaven’s King
Healing through perfect love
Saving children from everything
For endless life above….
