Like Me Poem by Bernadette O'Loughlin

Like Me

Should you trust your instincts when people tell you they are wrong?
If you have no talent, should you still sing a song?
Will you run when the whistle blows?
Or, will you wait for the others to go
Do you believe there is a better world?
Or only what you have been told
Do you see what I see?
Or only what your eyes see
Could you be extraordinary?
Or just ordinary
