Like Mike Poem by Serena Blackinton

Like Mike

They call me Mike,
And want to be,
Just like me.
I got it wired:
Honestly.
Can't you see?
Everyone wants to be like Mike!
I've no idea.
Of what they see.
And why me?
There's nothing here,
To emulate;
Nope, not me.
I say what I feel.
No big deal, really.
Just keep it real.
And you'll see,
Eventually;
I'm not Mike,
Won't ever be.
I'm not a carbon copy,
I'm just me.
Everyone wants to be like Mike!
