Like snow in the middle of July
You came from somewhere unknown only to hurt me again

Like falling off a ten foot building
Only to find out you survived
You told me you loved me,
And you would never desert me

Like a bird flying to where it is warmer
You left me as if I were a vacation spot for you
As if I became too cold for you to withstand

Like seeing new life for the first time
I stared at you in awe as your mouth curled around those words
'I have to leave', as if i became a mute I couldnt find my speech

Like envisioning a fairytale ending
When instead you end up Heartbroken
Defeated and in a stranger's body
Trying to find the person who would've known what was coming

This my friends is life, no matter how many broken hearts you've sustained don't give up on love for your imperfect ways are only human.
