It poured in gallons around me, galore!
Swallowing me whole, Surrounding me, where is my amore?
I promised, I'd never shed a tear of release
Hushing my agony, nurturing it's appease
The constant patter rhythm, lulled me to an abysmal trance
Leading me to you, our bodies together, an endless dance
I can't wrap my mind on what used to be us
So I mourn you as if you've withered into dust
I find myself in a river
Drowning, letting go as fast a slight shiver
The only thing keeping me alive
Is you, my wailing song, and I shall survive!
