(like That) Pose - Poem by Rich Downes

Never thought of things that you couldn't yet see
For there's nothing more I could even be
Even if you are that reason why one love could kill

Now there's just no way that you can even begin to take my hand
How I'll wish what could have been.

Even if you stay with just like that pose when I'll say
Ah, now I know why time slowly now heals, yeah
For now there's nothing when you will leave me without a word to say

Guess you're the excuse I give for the prices that I cannot pay
But there's nothing here when I shall go again
Even if you're the only person who doesn't begin to yet reply
Don't wanna know if you'll omit maybe.

Now there's just no way that you can even begin to take my hand
How I'll wish what could have been.

Even if you stay with just like that pose when I'll say
Ah, now I know why time slowly now heals, yeah
For now there's nothing when you will leave me without a word to say

And still like that pose cannot decay
And still like that pose
And still like that pose cannot decay
And still like that pose cannot decay

Guess you're the excuse I give for the prices that I cannot pay
But there's nothing here when I shall go again
Even if you're the only person who doesn't begin to yet reply
Don't wanna know if you'll omit maybe.

Now there's just no way that you can even begin to take my hand
How I'll wish what could have been.

Even if you stay with just like that pose when I'll say
Ah, now I know why time slowly now heals, yeah
For now there's nothing when you will leave me without a word to say

Now if you stay with just like that pose when I'll say
Ah, now I know why time slowly now heals, yeah
For now there's nothing when you will leave me without a word to say
For there's nothing when you'll leave me without a word to say
