Lincoln And Thanksgiving



For turkeys
no emancipation
proclamation
though Abraham Lincoln ordained
A day of Thanksgiving
as hundreds of billions
by the axe have
stopped living.

Many presidents
have pardoned
each just 1 turkey
annually... yet
what was the bird's crime?
