Lisa Poem by Heidi Streuber

Lisa

Leapt into life in November
As light of mum's and dad's life

Lenient and loyal
With lean limbs

Usually as lowly as a lamb
Although sometimes she can turn wild
Like a lioness or a leopard

In class a lesser light
Except at long jump and laughing
Still longing to master her lack of creativity

Lost with languages
Loathes standing in the limelight
As well as low-mindedness
And lying

Long leisure and shaking her legs
Liven her up

She loves her liberty
But often life sets limits
Forcing her to learn a lesson

Lucky, laden, lazy, learning
Lovesick or loving

Last not least
A likable lady
