Listen, And You Will Hear Poem by Melissa Joy Chesky

Listen, And You Will Hear

Whisper in my ear, dear Heart
Let me mend your bloodied abrasions
Hush your tormented wails
And tell me – what ails you?
Why for so long have you been fragmented?
Who has committed these treacherous acts?
Who so belligerent, so recklessly, ruined you?
Softly, tell me your tale, weak one.
I won’t judge, I will see you in no differed light.
