Listlessness In Spain Poem by Tyger Robertson

Listlessness In Spain

That soft Spanish spring
That has rolled and folded
Into a glowing summer
Wrapping it's gentle adventure
In wonder and wander
Around my imagination.

The summer heat drifts,
Blind and almost stagnant;
But is gentle and sleepily
Delivers seeds and visions
Promising to sprout
Some day, for eternity.

The sweet drizzle
Of Rain in Spain in fall
Never really falls just on the plains,
But everywhere:
Soaking and saturating
Everything,
Especially one's feelings.

The chilly winter air
Cuts through coats and shirts,
But doesn't quite seal the bones
In freeze and cold;
But aureate it
In revealing, reawakening,
And reverberating, restoring,
And preserving times
Past and future.
