Little Girl Poem by Jessica Vasilyeva

Little Girl

I wish to be a little girl who laughs and squeals when she sees a butterfly.
I want to be able to forgive and forget easily
And tattle-tale on the people who make me sad.
I want to cry on my mommy’s shoulder
And be daddy’s little girl, not daddy’s big girl.
I want to rejoice in little things and be afraid of the dark.
I wish to be a little girl.
