Little Hope Poem by Celestra Myers Elliott

Little Hope

There's little hope on Southside,
for the would be king.
Spent his life so selfishly,
sacred were all his things.
He sat upon his thrown of lies,
pretending not to see,
the damage and destruction,
that he would leave for me.
