Little boy
Why are you in this house?
This house of pain and suffering.
Why do you watch the flames?
The flames that lick away at your life.
Why do you just sit there waiting?
Waiting for the pain to die.
Why do you ignore the voices?
The voices telling you that you're worth more.
more than what yoou get.
Little girl.
Why are you drowning?
Drowning in shallow darkness and hatred.
Why do you close your eyes?
The eyes that allow you to see the beauty of the world.
Wy do you shut yourself out?
Out of love and happiness.
Why do you run from our problems?
Problems that can nevr be ran from.
Why are you in silence?
Silence that can be heard.
Why don't you swim?
Swim to the better side of life.
Little children.
Smile.
Smile and pray for a better day.
A day of happiness that will never end.
End your tears.
Tear apart your sadness.
And Smile.
