Little Stone Poem by diara armstead

Little Stone

Poor litte stone
Sits in the dirt
With many others
People walk by
Left and right
Kicking you from
Place to place
You go from one
Group of stones to
Another with no
Say so like a
Child in a foster
Home you meet
New faces and
Places you get
Pushed around
and stepped on
Like a bully pushing
Around a nerd
I feel your pain
And understand
That you just want
To be left alone
In one place
I'll stand by you
And support you
Like a lawyer
Supports a jailbird
I'll take you home
To my garden
Where you can
Be left alone
With just one home
