Little Sweetness Poem by Mary Ann Bahala

Little Sweetness

It's been a long while since I stared at your eyes
I didn't expect it would be nice
Oh sure, there were no lies

Such sweet lips that utter my name
Don't fool me for it's not a game
Don't say those excuses so lame
Bear with you your serene fame

And it's all because...

Your heart is a pillow drying my tears
Your hand is a wine driving away my fears
Maybe we are not meant forever
But baby I promise, I'll treasure you even winter

Such sweet things so manly
Those beautiful eyes chasing after me
Those tight hugs keeping me warm
Those promises that will make no harm

But then again...

Those are just little sweet memories
No matter what I do still there's no possibilities
That you and I will spend our lives together
Cause we both believe that promises surrender
