Live For Tomorrow

Plan towards life of tomorrow
In what you do today
Let joy eradicate sorrow
Along God's chosen way

Rely not on things that please us
Lustful luring one's eyes
But seek and hold fast to Jesus
The One alone, who's wise

Life on earth is but a second
Before death's gaping gates
When one's thoughts, words, deeds are reckoned
Eternity, awaits

Let's take a moment to ponder
What God will say that day?
When like fools this life we squander
Casting love's grace away

Through Christ, seek Heaven's Treasure
Through Jesus' death on earth
Reject not God's Promised pleasure
Repent for brand new birth

Where truths revealed, life's facts made known
Removing doubt and fear
Sitting, learning beneath Christ's throne
Knowing salvation's here

Beware my friend, make no mistake
Each word of God will stand
Best flee from death, hell's flaming lake
Take hold of Jesus' hand

When young, few think of growing old
While selfishness can rule
Let Heaven's Truth today be told
And live not like a fool.....
