Live Life, Live Light. Poem by Jayson Howard

Live Life, Live Light.

Rating: 5.0

Leaves are falling now,
like tears to the ground.
I guess times are changing again.
The nights have gotten so cold.
You feel it when you’re all alone.
Maybe it’s time for rearranging to begin.

We’ve got, to live it up,
but we’ve got, too much…
stuff going on, wishing each day was done,
hoping the next would be brighter.
And there’s no room to speak, when we should be,
living life, living lighter.

Well, aren’t you getting better?
I know you’re getting sick of the weather,
but you should know the sun will shine again.
Darkness can fall sometimes,
but it’ll never block all of the light,
So maybe we should bring it to its end.

We’ve got, to live it up,
but we’ve got, too much…
stuff going on, wishing each day was done,
hoping the next would be brighter.
And there’s no room to speak, when we should be,
living life, living lighter.

Live life, live light.
Live life, live right.
Live life, live light.
Live life, live right.
Live life, live light.
Live life, live right.

Push all things aside, don’t run and hide,
Because tomorrow will be brighter.
And speak up, live it up,
Living life, living lighter.

[Just a song write. Mainly about taking pressures off.]

Great poem. There is much truth to what you express in the poem. For we all need to make time to live, free from the many demands that pull us some many different ways. It's all about setting aside some time, some time to live. Thanks for sharing. 10+ I need to read more of your work.
