Live The Present (Sonnet 252) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Live The Present (Sonnet 252)

Stealing may be a vice, yet at times, a virtue!
When we postpone life, life is stolen from us.
Live the present, and steal from time's plenitude,
Steal smiles too even when facing an impasse.

Happiness is a choice, it's not innate.
Be free of high expectations from others;
Most change or leave, by choice or by fate,
Yet God never leaves, we're so loved by our Father.

Never let others steal your time and life.
Follow your inner calling fervently.
You have a mission that makes your soul thrive;
Invest in a cause for humanity.

Self-love's a treasure you'll never regret;
Precious we are to God in every aspect.
