Who fall asleep with second birth
Who live to Christ, God’s Son
Who lose their life, for truth on earth
True life has just begun
Nothing of man, exists for long
Nothing will last he’s made
In Christ alone is victory’s song
All else will surely fade
The song of Christ will never end
Nor those in Him who sing
Whose contrite heart, whose knees will bend,
In grace before The King
In truth, we live to Christ alone
Within His strength, we fight
Exchange for flesh, a heart of stone
Our tents, for robes of Light
Opposed to those who waste their time
Who live this life for gain
God’s holy hill, they’ll fail to climb
For Christ’s not free to reign
When Jesus comes to set us free
When truth to us is told
What joy’s received when eyes can see?
God’s mysteries then unfold
We see through Christ, we’ve second birth
Through Jesus’ love, we live
We see there’s more to life on earth
Much more The Lord can give
Who seek; The Christ, to quench their thirst
Who search, for love and peace
Who place The Saviour always first
Their lives will never cease…
