Lived Lifetime In A Moment Poem by Fabbeha Kundvi

Lived Lifetime In A Moment

There is a tender kind of beauty
in letting a moment remain untouched—
not folded into forever,
not named,
not held too tightly in trembling hands.

Just a moment—
breathing softly between two souls,
and knowing
it is already enough.

Some conversations arrive like sunsets—
spilling gold across the ordinary,
lingering just long enough
to make you believe in magic,
then slipping away
before you think to ask them to stay.

We are not always meant
to gather names like souvenirs,
or trade numbers
as proof that something was real.
Not every truth asks to be kept—
some simply ask to be felt.

Sometimes,
You walks beside me
through a handful of sentences,
and leaves behind a silence
that feels fuller than words ever could.

You go—
like a melody you can't quite hum again,
like a dream that fades
but softens your waking.

Not every spark
is meant to become a fire.
Some are only meant
to remind you
that warmth exists.

And still—
long after they've disappeared
into the anonymous rhythm of the world,
something of them stays:

in the quiet curve of your smile,
in the pause between your thoughts,
in the way your heart
learns a new language of gentle letting go.

You remember—
not their face,
not their voice exactly,
but the way the moment felt
like it belonged to eternity
for just a breath.

And maybe that is the point—

that some connections
are not meant to be continued,
only experienced.

A beautiful conversation
doesn't always ask for a future.
Sometimes, it is complete
in its own brief existence—

whole,
flickering,
and gone. ✨
