Living In The Dark Poem by David Oladipupo Olorunshola

Living In The Dark

Living in the dark
Should not be a reason to cause a spark
But to find a way to leave the pack
No justifiable reason will suffice
Almost impossible to be precise
Total confusion the result of strife
You have to find momentum for your life.
Where are you living presently?
And how long have you been living there.
You don't need to live in darkness
And when you dwell too long there.
You may never see the light of the day.
Though the light may arise upon you.
Almost impossible to locate you.
For the sheer evil of this darkness.
Many miles may be the separation between.
But there will always be a way out
Because you have to make a way for growth
Though deep darkness may tary
Light comes in the morning
Shattering the darkness that bounds.
