To live inside a snowflake's heart,
Where stillness reigns and dreams depart,
A home of ice, both soft and pure,
A fleeting peace that will endure.
Each flake, a world of frozen light,
Where day and night are both alike,
A quiet space, no heat, no sound,
A perfect world where none are found.
Yet fragile is this crystal home,
Where time and life can never roam.
But for a while, in frozen grace,
I rest within this gentle space.
