Living My Part Poem by DASHARATH NAIK

Living My Part

The drudgery of life traps me quite hard
Against my will to seize my whole being
Also my wishes of super- sonic speed.

The rotten life dreams of its bygone bliss
That then inspired me to live and love
Humanity
In its trueness before it got sunk suddenly

Going to live an unlived life I die as I start
Time sneers for I fail to keep pace with it
My journey comes to an end before it begins.

My friends start unfriending and blocking me
For vigour I stood for then is all exhausted
With empty bag of alms crawls the poor soul, Ah!

Misery and poverty all along intimate to me
Loving them I have learnt how to live my part
Their hugs and kisses made me fairly hard.
