I Must Live Poem by DASHARATH NAIK

I Must Live

Rating: 5.0

My thoughts bleeding now
my existence in this void and
the darkness engulfing me
my world almost at peril
losing its essence of values
as the confidence trembles
the courage stays back and
my spirit keeps mum for long.

The morning fumbles in the shades of uncertainties
the day sinks in the oceanic misunderstanding
the evening shatters in the unusual glistening lights
the night floats amidst patches of doubts
and my little realm stays held up
without moving an inch.

The blood turns cold
as my sweat drenches me
my tears tend to trouble me
for the innumerable odds and evils
surrounding my nobilities, , ,

My sufferings deepening more
into the flesh of my bosom
and I lay unconscious
with a torn mind coated with
faded hopes and crippled dreams.

Moments borrowed from time
now almost lay missing
in the scorching heat
as ferocious as a hungry leopard
the life like an orphan is guided
by none but my misfortune, , ,

Me a fish out of water
absolutely neglected and ignored
my life at this point of timelessness
stands like a rusted machine
not to work for good
till it is disposed of and
to be forgotten by all, eventually.

Is it all life, is it nobility of soul
living and growing like a tree
and then to be pushed aside
marooned to the world of oblivion ? ?

NO!

The seed we sow is all important.
let's sow our Love and Care
our Kindness and Concern for the needy
our service and sacrifice to the troubled humanity
our Sympathy for the distressed:

The bleeding wounds will be healed
the rainbow will colour our life
and somewhere will spark
a glorious smile,
to find life swinging and singing in blissful mirth
with a heartfelt thanks to the Father almighty!
