Locked In Poem by Jan E Smith

Locked In

Locked in, shut down
strange people all around.
Walls painted dismal grey
my energy seems to slip away.

I'm locked in, locked down
I feel as though I will drown.
God save me from this place
and rid the tears that drench my face.
