Locked In Lockdown Poem by Rajat Bandejiya

Locked In Lockdown

Once God decided to heal earth from its toe to crown,
So, he requested mankind to stop being relentless and calm down.
After covetous man's refusal, he decided to teach him a lesson,
And Now what maximum he can do is to hide in a lockdown...

Now, we understand how harsh we are to other beings of creation,
We made a place called Zoo i.e. nowhere less than a prison.
But After sacrificing our natural desire to enjoy freedom,
We realize what it means to suffer into detention...

Now, I respect people who survived the Black Death of dark age,
When half population passed away and left surviving half to bewail.
They prayed heartily for divine forgiveness to anyhow emancipate,
But the helpless lord has to suggest humanity to segregate...

Thou inculcate, you have advanced much within the last decades,
but thou don't have any remedy even centuries after the great plague?
why didn't any nostrum since then you ever found?
as now you are impelling people to quarantine into a lockdown...

The battle has just started & is much far from any conclusion,
But inside our heart, we all know one-day humanity will triumph!
It's a war in which every human being have to take part to survive,
By taking this painful dose known as Lockdown!
