Lodel Lo, Hodel Woe, Lodel Lo Poem by Mary Naylor

Lodel Lo, Hodel Woe, Lodel Lo

Rating: 5.0

I'ma leavin' on the Amtrack,
And I ain't acomin' back.
You left me for another woman,
And never told me your plan!
Lodel lo, hodel woe, lodel lo...

Maybe I'll leave on the riverboat.
Just climb aboard and float.
How could you leave me that way?
Why you never even wrote!
Lodel lo, hodel woe, lodel lo...

Well, I could ketch me a jet
and leave plenty fast, you bet!
I'll forgit you and your lady friend,
and jist let my heart mend.
Lodel lo, hodel woe, lodel lo...

Think I'll jist take my car,
I don't have to go that far.
What? You want me back? Listen rat,
I'm even goin' take the cat!
Lodel lo, hodel woe, lodel lo.
