Lone 🐺 Poem by Alexander Onoja

Lone 🐺

You see these eyes that haven't shed tears,
doesn't mean they don't cry.
they've seen loss in blooming years.

You see this heart that hasn't loved yet,
doesn't mean it doesn't yearn.
It just haven't been lucky yet,
and it's still scared to learn.

You see this guy that beam with smiles,
doesn't mean he doesn't grieve.
For a friend he'll walk a thousand miles,
like a loyal dog he'll never leave.

He's not strong, but he's firm.
He's not bold, but he has no fear.
He's not caring, but he's kind.
He's not friendly, but he's always there.

So what else do you want?
