Loneliness Poem by Marilyn Lott

Loneliness

My God, how loneliness invades
The mind and body so!
It washes through the senses,
Self-esteem’s at an all-time low.
But you’ve got to pick yourself up,
You know what I say is true.
‘Cause there is somebody out there
That is waiting just for you.
