Loneliness In A Crowded Place Poem by ashok jadhav

Loneliness In A Crowded Place

I walk among the throng, yet feel apart,
A shadow drifting through a sea of light;
Each smile around me grazes not my heart,
Each voice a song that fades before the night.
The laughter swells like waves I cannot reach,
Their joy a language I have never learned;
I long for one familiar hand to breach
The quiet ache for which my soul has yearned.
Though pressed by bodies, yet untouched inside,
I carry still the solitude I know;
A private world where tears and thoughts reside,
Unseen by those who pass in ceaseless flow.
And in that ache, a truth I cannot hide:
Loneliness can bloom where crowds collide.
