Loneliness Sure Is Faithful Poem by T.J. Daniels

Loneliness Sure Is Faithful

I've been seeing loneliness so much
that she became a friend.

I only hope that happiness doesn't get jealous.

Whenever I lay down at night
loneliness is right there beside me
caressing me
whispering nothings in my ear
til I close my eyes.

And in the morning
the first thing I see
when I open them
is loneliness.

If I can say anything about loneliness
she sure is faithful.
