Lonely Poem by Margaret Murphy

Lonely

'You don't love me' he exclaimed.

'Why would he think I could? '

Without love, life can be futile,

Every day, a trial.

Night will bring no comfort,

But I'll tarry for a while.

Waiting here impatiently for change,

To bring me comfort,

like a lonely child, I cry.
