Lonely Angle Poem by david campbell

Lonely Angle

an angle lying on the floor her wings
carrying her no more, she cries out to
god seeking forgiveness

she looks up with bloody eyes
her thoughts masked out by
her cries

salvation is the tole to make
peace and free her soul

the weeping angle grabs her wings
the silence broken by the screams
the angle lying on the floor dying
to her heart beat no more.
