Lonely End Poem by AlissaMarie Unknown

Lonely End

One slash here,
One slash there,
So many slashes starting to appear.

Like the beginning of a storm
It starts slow then begins to pour
Dampening the linens below.

It saddens me so,
To see the victim so cold and alone.

I almost shed a tear,
But why should we after all
The pain we have endeared.

Make the call,
And claim she went insane
So freedom can ring yet once again.
