Lonely Eyes - Poem by Jonathan Crouch

You have that look about you,
much to my surprise,
I look into your face,
and see your lonesome eyes,

You could have any man,
that you know is true,
and I think you know old friend,
I feel for you too,

This might come to some surprise,
but I once too,
had lonely eyes.
