Lonely Flower Poem by Jessica Kissner

Lonely Flower

Rating: 2.7

Lovely Flower on your own,
Swaying gently in the breeze,
Sad you look standing there,
Without a friend in sight,
So I will plant these seeds so close,
Hopeful you will be alive,
As these seeds grow up and then
You will not be alone no more.

Awwww this made me smile, Jessica. Your words can be interpreted in many ways. To me I see a young girl starting puberty and feels all alone, but she is planting the seeds of womanhood inside of her to have the courage to go out and make more and new friends. This is so heartfelt and very sweet. A 10+++++ and thank you for sharing. Love & hugs, Barbara
