I am lonely
Cold and waiting for you
To come and hold me
Warm this heart so weak and so blue
Far away from
Where I lay alone tonight
You are dreaming
But in your dreams I don’t come into sight
I’m just a shadow
That voice in the back of your head
Reminding you that
Everything we once had is dead
But I won’t leave you
These feelings inside will not let
Won’t let me lose hope
They simply won’t let me forget

I am hungry
I long to consume your love
But you won’t let me
And so I am consumed by hurt
I’ve had enough, but
Not enough to make me give up
I’m such a fool to
Even think that we can make this work
Or maybe I’m wrong I
Don’t really know anymore
I’ve gotta stay strong I
Need to explore beyond that door
But what if you
Cut all my strings and let me fall
I will plummet
And in the end I will lose it all
