Lonely Place Poem by Minerva Agriam

Lonely Place

Lonely place laden with barrenness,
Surrounding bereft with baldness,
Trees & shrubs dying with dryness,
People & animals gay with happiness.

But you lonely place,
Has brought life to fullness,
Bearing your exotic fruitfulness,
A rare treasure of worldliness.

Lonely place of barrenness,
Nothing may see your loveliness,
You bring pureness,
To my wanting heartaches.

Lonely place of pureness,
Your hidden beauty is the fullness,
To my picky emptiness,
O dream of mine my lonely place.
