Lonely Street Poem by Brian Ben

Lonely Street

Rating: 5.0

I walk down the solitary street
Heading towards the heartbreak resort
And ask for a favorite
'I can't make it without you' drink
Little by little, then there you come
I see you and remember vividly
How I once begged on my knees
Yes, how I did bent so low.
Oh, in a little while
I can't take more of you in memories.
No one should ask what's on my mind
Of course I feel alright.
I climb the top of the tower
And throw myself off
But I'm afraid
That I will fall on your bed
Your bed of lies.
